摘要

The present report is dedicated to plant engineering of steel semi continuous casting plant (SCCM-1), designed in Joint Stock Company R&D Enterprise “MASHPROM”. Engineering solutions, implemented in the plant, render pos-sible to produce of a big cross-section ingot of high quality. The parameters of the produced ingots – advanced macro-structure and surface state - provide sharp decrease of labor cost due to further forming and machining of the items made of heat-resistant steel and alloys. Benefits, achieved at OJSC metallurgical plant "Elektrostal", where this plant has been successfully implemented, are described.
